Il Verdone is a small-scale accommodation nestled in the tranquil countryside of Usini. Room Poiana has two single beds, a private bathroom, and air conditioning. Guests have access to a shared living room and well-equipped kitchen. Outside, you'll find several terraces, hammocks, a spacious swimming pool, and the beautiful garden with olive trees and various fruit trees. The owner lives on site and is available for tourist advice and practical assistance.

Il Verdone is centrally located between Casteldardo and Alghero and close to Sassari, Sardinia's second city. It is nestled among olive groves and vineyards in a hilly area. It offers a peaceful setting with a wealth of birds, clean air, and only the sounds of nature and the countryside.

Nearby Usini is a typical Sardinian village with two supermarkets and several bars and restaurants. In Usini, you'll find typical Sardinian murals and a Domus de Janas (pre-Nuragic burial chamber). From Usini, you can reach several beaches within just a 30-minute drive. You can choose one of Italy's longest beaches, Platamona, the city beach of Alghero, or one of the many bays in the area, such as Porto Ferro or Le Bombarde.

But also visit one of the many archaeological sites, mountain towns like Monte Leone, Roccadoria, and Osilo, or take a tour through the mountain landscape south of Usini and return via the beautiful coastal road from Bosa to Alghero. Stintino (also known as the most beautiful beach in Europe) is easily accessible by car, and we personally highly recommend visiting Asinara, the uninhabited island north of Stintino, famous for its white donkeys. It's easily accessible by ferry from Porto Torres.
